Celebrating the Compost Awarness Week
Date: May 12, 2007, posted by Alexander Goerlach
This week is Compost Awareness Week, seven days in which you are urged to embrace the muck, love the dirt and get yourself into the compost habit, The Ecologist reports.
If there's an eco-activity that's bound to give you a warm glow inside, it's this one. You cut down on waste sent to landfill, you cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, you neatly side-step the 'weekly rubbish collections' furore and you produce something extremely valuable at the end of it. Done properly, there's no need for compost bins to smell or attract animals. Check out the Compostguide.
