Happy New year to all... so with the passing of 2006, which could be lablled as the year that brough green into the mainstream , then what can we look forward to in 2007? In my eyes I hope it becomes the year that moves the Green communication past just presenting the doom and gloom of impending ecological disasters to one that makes acting responsibly on climate change no longer seem like a chore but more like something that we all voluntarily want to do!Ultimately, we cannot afford for 2007 to be another year that merely highlights the negative. I am by no means suggesting we that we sugar coat the severity of the problems, however I think we need to find that middle ground that continues to drive awareness to the reality of our situation but at the same time replaces despair with inspiration that can help us to fill the positive action gap.I look forward to seeing 2007 unfold!
