Pure driving pleasure in MINI packages - several hundred MINIs will be travelling from Oxford, UK, to the BMW plant in Munich to get turned into an all electric version of their former self. Fully stuffed with emissiofree power they then will undergo test runs and gradual improvement in the next 12 to 18 months . First results of these tests will be published at the end of the year. It's just a first step, as Norbert Reithofer, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, puts it or let's say literally a MINI step but the blogosphere like autobloggreen expects it to be just the beginning of the electrical history by BMW Group.
